The Almaden Community Center Activity Guide includes all of the programs, classes, and activities planned for the Almaden Community Center in Spring 2012.
Almaden Senior Program is offering a number of free services to Almaden Valley seniors, including assistance with taxes, social security, health insurance, driving, and notary services.
Almaden Senior Program has a number of domestic trips planned for 2012, including Black Oak Casino, Hawaii, and Trains of the Colorado Rockies. These trips are a wonderful and hassle-free way to see the United States with your significant other and/or friends.
You’ll smile. You’ll chuckle. You’ll laugh out loud. Matilda’s Marvelous Adventure, a play written and directed by local Almaden Valley senior Mary Sheehan, follows Matilda Kumquat’s adventures as she travels around the world meeting various zany people she encounters along the way. Join in the fun and experience a humorous look at airlines, cruises, tourists, and tour groups.

Almaden Valley residents have a variety of activities from which to choose. There’s something for everyone – from toddlers to seniors.
Choose from arts and crafts, camps, dance, early childhood recreation, education and enrichment, health and fitness, music, sports leagues and drop-ins, cooking, specialty programs, senior programs and events, and family events.
Registration for Summer 2011 activities begins on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at 10am. You can register online, in-person (at Almaden Community Center), mail-in, or fax-in.
Holy Spirit in Almaden Valley has a new ministry program called Lend a Hand that sounds really wonderful.
The ministry is focused on reaching out to the elderly and those in our community who need help with simple tasks around the house. Volunteer to help someone with repairing fixtures, cleaning windows, mowing the lawn, or other to do’s and errands.
